email guerillalit Brian Townsley

Brian Townsley was born and raised in Los Angeles. he managed to acquire degrees from UC Berkeley and USC, though the details are still in question. It is rumored that he ordered said degrees from a catalogue and received them via the mail. That is one explanation though he denies the allegations and insists that he was kustamizing hot rods at the time in question and otherwise does not recall college. He does not live at Venice Beach, but would like to. He has won awards and published songs and threats in numerous journals, but nobody is interested in that except his parents, who glow with pride at each new contributor's copy. He has decided to change the way business is done. He believes in boxing and Wild Turkey and bloodletting and searing the skin of the world with words. He is rumored to have a wife and son, but nobody has seen them to verify their existence.
Brian currently has three books of poetry available: Badinfinity., everybody pays., and let the devil ride., all of which can be found on this site, as well as Amazon.com, and others of lesser repute.

Badinfinity                                                       The Stranger by tobias deehan

Badinfinity, the Hegelian term given life and a second name through Sartre (bad faith), is the soulnumbing modern experience of civilization given bureaucracy in the digital age.  These poems are pointed and moving, a singular voice in the white noise that surrounds us.

The Stranger is Tobias Deehan’s second work of poetry with guerillalit, and finds him stretching the boundaries of the poetic form in both aesthetics and language.  Also features some work by fellow writer Eugene Ellsworth.
